the truth...

The truth is that I am missing Coralie desperately and even cried on the phone to her. Not what I wanted to do.

Dumb ass.

No, not feeling any better.

Feeling fedded up!

Quilt...

I have stretched my ‘Trip Around the World’ quilt twice, and it is still not square – any hints or tips? Anyone?

on course

Of course~!

I have been on course the last two days doing a 'Round the World' Quilt.

Well, my opinion is that it is too much like boring hard work, I have made much more excitng ones previously.

It will be stunning when finished, but that will not be for a while as Ian is not working this weekend.

Pictures will follow as soon as I have finished it, it looks like 'Coral' according to the lady who has the shop in which the course was run.

I forgot to add to my 'grateful' post - the almost silent Miele vacuum cleaner - also new.

Bad me!!

Tired, it was a long day

kisses to you all

Things to be grateful for; 123

My best washing machine ever, direct drive - read; so quiet - and 8 kg loads. Brilliant, I can do a weeks clothing wash for two in one load! It also spins at 1200 rpm, that will kill your tee-shirts, but is great for towels!

I am getting a newer car - it has 15 000 kms on it and Ian is helping me buy it. I will possibly get it this weekend as it is in East London, so we will fly down and drive back. So that is two things, one to be grateful for the car, and that Ian loves me enough to pay for half.

I am very happy at the moment, long may it last!

My best photo yet - cuddle bundle - I need baby cuddles, I had best go and find a baby to smother I think. Agh, I cannot turn it!

Normal?

I am slowly getting back to 'normal', but I am missing my baby and her baby so much. I need baby cuddles.

I have a lot of stuff to take with me to CT when I go - a stack of things that Coralie thought were not necessary and stuff she had to leave behind due to weight restrainsts.

This stack of stuff includes a 'snug and safe' and a carry cot! I have decided that I will take cartons with me, as I am only going for 3 days (there and back) I will take my clothes in a carry on and her stuff in boxes. Now to get the boxes.

Sean is missing Coralie so much too, I can tell, he will not say; he is a toughie!

BTW I love my new washing machine, it takes so much clothing - 8kgs, and it plays a little tune so you know when it is finished! Brilliant!

Old photo of the baby! Did you know he will be a month old tomorrow?

Update!

I have more photos of the Famous Tim;

But you can only see one! (This one is pretty old).

Enjoy, he smells so fab. This should be scratch and sniff!

He and Coralie fly to Cape Town today – I am sad, but their lives have to go on.

I was brave (but I have arranged that I do not drop them at the airport, Sean is doing that for me - I couldn't face it). Coralie wasn’t; she will be fine.

Such an interesting dream…

I dreamt that I could fly like a bird, effortlessly. I was soaring through the sky and enjoying the freedom of it so much.

I have never had such an uplifting (ha!) dream before.

My parents were in the dream watching me, like you would a child who was doing something somewhat dangerous. It was oddly comforting that they were focused on the fact that I could ‘crash and burn’. (I did get the impression that they were critiquing my style though).

Happy Birthday Kier – my nephew in England, he is 6 today!

Happy anniversary Katie and Mark – 25 years!

Happy birthday Emma Jaine Tompson, in Australia – 3 today!

Does LG suck? Not from this machine!!

On Friday we bought a new washing machine, on Saturday it does not want to pump out the water, but it worked for the first load ever. Brilliant…. Good old LG. We are starting to wonder about them, the TV also had to go back.
I need is to book my flight to Aus in November for my nephew’s wedding, but have to clear my credit card first. Hmm, unexpected expenses have occurred lately. (Not mine).

re-evaluate

I realise that Tim has made me stop and look at my life and re-evaluate. He makes me realise all that matters is family and love. He has been at home only 4 days and has changed my life profoundly. No-one else matters outside of my immediate family.

I spend hours looking at his face and seeing such beauty.

I hope no-one is sick of my Tim posts, things have changed around here.....

Coralie and Tim leave on the 12 May for Cape Town. I will miss them so.

I have already a plane ticket for the end of July to visit them.
